SO MUCH PRESSURE
at the dentist's last week i found out i should get a crown on my left front tooth. as in my left. the dentist said how it will completely blend in and they can even make it look tapered and lighter in color at the bottom just like real teeth. she said i'm only 26 and that's young and 26 year olds smile a lot. she looked at me. i smiled quickly in confirmation. she nodded, satisfied.
today bastian and i went to a drugstore to get toilet paper, tissues, laundry detergent and batteries. it's not really a drugstore. i wore a newish coat. this pet store nearby closed and they were selling their cash register and i thought about buying it and having my dream of working in retail right in my living room all the time.

engaged girl problems
we're still 6 1/2 odd months away from the wedding. actually, thanks to the obsessive people at theknot.com, it's 192 days away. we're pretty passive about it since we're still months and 4,000 miles away. i've got the big things covered and figure i can do everything else when we go to the US. admittedly it's pretty hard to plan a wedding from 4,000 miles away. i always thought i'd elope and go out to eat in a diner afterwards or something. my cousin's getting married a month after me.

so yeah. every year there's the question of whether the NPD should be allowed to protest, then again they have rights too, who's to decide this, et cetera et cetera.
but i'll do what i do best and focus on the superficial. around this time of year, people seem a little nicer. and that's never a bad thing.

i'm going to buy some bread and cat litter.
edit: just contemplated buying a new rice cooker, jasmine rice and cans of kimchi and sitting on the floor (sitting on the floor has always been a kind of "bingeing position" in my mind) and just gorging myself.
edit2: am not going to do this; necessitates tram ride to hauptbahnhof, too much social anxiety for this.
