it's fascinating that every single picture that exists of us between june 1-november 30 portrays us as happy, thrilled, positive and smiling when we were anything except. we needed to convince each other and ourselves. i still have not gotten over lübeck (see how i refer to our habitation in different cities as "lübeck" when it wasn't the city's fault at all) and still have dreams where it's june 1, 2010 and there starts 6 months of being 500 km away from me, even though you're IN THE SAME BED AS ME and probably SNORING.
(sigh. you are really attractive. yes, i'm staring at this picture of you, even though you are in the kitchen, standing right in front of me.)
