nothing to see here

i should already go ahead and apologize for this post, since it's bound to be filled with non-sequiturs.

i'm sick, isn't that exciting! i even called off work yesterday. calling off work is always this huge pros and cons list and usually the long-term cons greatly outweigh the short-term pros. however, even after staying in bed all day and only surfacing to play a rousing game of "mensch ärgere dich nicht" (or "sorry," as americans would know it), i feel awful today.

on wednesday night, we watched "midnight in paris" with dan. we saw it at the theater at elbe park. i've only been to elbe park (a huge shopping center) a couple times and i've always had a lot of anti-fun. on an unrelated note, i always see a lot of pink hair at elbe park.

i loved this movie for the laughs but i feel i liked it more than i "should" have. at one point bastian leaned to me and said, "so hemingway was a frat boy?"

sorry. like i said, no excitement.
